SmartLine Wireless Differential Pressure

SmartLine® Wireless Differential Pressure Transmitters are offered in two different series: the high-performance Series 800, and the high-value Series 700.  The transmitters offer exceptional accuracy while generating cost savings by providing a solution to obtain data from remote and hazardous locations simply, safely and securely.
The SmartLine Wireless Differential Pressure Transmitters cover the following operating ranges:

SeriesModelsOperating Range

700
STDW7200-400 in H2O (0-1000 mbar)
STDW7300-100 psi (0-7 bar)
STDW7700-3000 psi (0-210 bar)

800
STDW8100-10 in H2O (0-25 mbar)
STDW8200-400 in H2O (0-1000 mbar)
STDW8300-100 psi (0-7 bar)
STDW8700-3000 psi (0-210 bar)

How Does It Work?

Honeywell’s approach begins with the most capable and most versatile wireless network, the OneWireless Network.  Our network is the industry’s first multiprotocol network with support for both the ISA100 Wireless and WirelessHART protocols. Devices from both protocols coexist and are operational in real-time together. Additionally, the OneWireless Network further bridges the future with the past in that Wi-Fi based devices and wired MODBUS based devices can also connect to the network.

Honeywell designed the OneWireless Network so that customers could install a single high-performance network for process monitoring with the flexibility to add more critical applications, like control, when desired. The built-in features in the network allow the OneWireless Network to be ready for control, like offering a scalable wireless infrastructure while still maintaining deterministic communication.

Honeywell’s SmartLine Wireless Pressure builds upon the previous generation transmitter offering by offering a ½ second publication rate option, and a new anti-aliasing filter option.  These transmitters are ready for control. Honeywell customers currently utilizing XYR™ 6000 wireless transmitters can also painlessly add SmartLine Wireless Pressure to their networks.

What Problems Does It Solve?

Wireless field devices lower the barrier to project ROI justification, speeds the installation process, and thus gets operational faster.

Industrial organizations looking for operational improvement are looking for new areas to gain efficiencies or optimization. This leads to re-evaluating areas that were in the past hard to financially justify or physically hard to gain access. Wireless field devices solve this issue with the ability to lower the cost and provide an alternative path for instrumentation.

When evaluating industrial wireless offerings, SmartLine Wireless Pressure product offers significant performance and cost advantages for both current and new users of industrial wireless technology by:

  • Providing a robust wireless network with increased power, faster update rates, reduced infrastructure requirements and wider deployment options
  • Incorporating additional noise reduction to improve performance in control applications
  • Simplifying installation and commissioning
  • Utilizing long-life commodity batteries
  • Offering the ability usef 24-volt DC power, optionally, in the field
  • Implementing proven, industry-best cyber security
